Assembly Guide

Most TEXEBIKE models arrive partially assembled. Basic assembly may be required before your first ride.

This guide provides general assembly information. Always follow the specific manual included with your e-bike.

Before You Start

Prepare a clean, safe workspace. Carefully remove the e-bike from the box and keep all packaging until assembly and inspection are complete.

Check that all parts are included:

  • E-bike frame
  • Front wheel
  • Handlebar
  • Pedals
  • Seat
  • Battery
  • Charger
  • Keys
  • Tools
  • Manual
  • Accessories

If any part is missing or damaged, contact TEXEBIKE before riding.

Basic Assembly Steps

1. Install the Handlebar

Align the handlebar properly with the front wheel. Tighten all bolts evenly and securely.

Make sure brake cables and wires are not twisted, stretched, or pinched.

2. Install the Front Wheel

Place the front wheel into the fork correctly. Secure the axle or quick-release mechanism according to the manual.

Check that the wheel spins freely and does not rub heavily against the brake.

3. Install the Pedals

Pedals are side-specific.

  • Right pedal usually tightens clockwise.
  • Left pedal usually tightens counterclockwise.

Do not force the pedal threads. Cross-threading can damage the crank arm.

4. Install the Seat

Insert the seat post to the correct height. Do not raise it above the minimum insertion line.

Tighten the clamp securely before riding.

5. Install or Check the Battery

Make sure the battery is properly seated and locked into place. Check that the battery connection is secure before powering on the bike.

6. Check the Brakes

Squeeze both brake levers before riding. The brakes should feel firm and responsive.

Do not ride if the brakes feel loose, weak, noisy, or misaligned.

7. Check Tire Pressure

Inflate tires according to the recommended pressure shown on the tire sidewall or product manual.

Improper tire pressure can affect range, comfort, handling, and safety.

8. Power On the Bike

Turn on the display and check:

  • Battery level
  • Lights
  • Pedal assist
  • Throttle, if applicable
  • Brake cut-off
  • Display functions

Pre-Ride Safety Checklist

Before every ride, check:

  • Tire pressure
  • Brake function
  • Handlebar tightness
  • Wheel security
  • Pedal tightness
  • Seat position
  • Battery lock
  • Lights
  • Bell or horn
  • Chain and drivetrain
  • Any unusual noise or loose parts

First Ride Recommendation

For your first ride:

  • Ride in a safe open area
  • Start with low pedal assist
  • Test brakes at low speed
  • Learn the display controls
  • Avoid traffic until familiar with the bike
  • Do not carry passengers unless the bike is designed for it

Important Safety Notes

Do not ride if:

  • Brakes are not working properly
  • Battery is loose
  • Wheel is not secure
  • Handlebar is loose
  • Wires are damaged
  • Tire is flat
  • Frame or fork is damaged
  • Any warning appears on the display
